Closing the Kickstarter Chapter

TL;DR: We are officially shutting down the Kickstarter to finalize fulfillment and prepare for retail.

Hi everyone,

What a wild ride it's been. When we launched this campaign, we imagined maybe selling a few thousand units. We never expected to go this far or face so many thrilling, chaotic, and at times deeply technical challenges - both in producing all the rewards or simply learning how to run a Kickstarter at this scale. We're incredibly grateful for your support, ideas, bug reports, and patience along the way.

Closing the Kickstarter Chapter

We've come a long way - and thanks to you, JetKVM is now a fully fledged product. To take the next step and soon enter the retail phase, we need to:

• Shut down the Kickstarter.
• Finish fulfillment of all remaining shipments.
• Shift over inventory to retailers.

Once that is done, we will move on to retail distribution. Initially, we will start with a small group of third-party retailers and expand to more distributors as our capacity allows.

Stuck Shipments

We know some of you still haven't received your shipments - thank you for sticking with us. 80% of all the non-shipped shipments come from backers not confirming their address through the confirmation email we sent. If you think you're one of those, please head over to shiphelp.jetkvm.com, log in, and look for the "Confirm Address" button. If you can't see it, just hang tight - we'll be working hard on shipping your rewards in the coming weeks.

U.S. Backers

U.S. backers who paid full price ($69+), we'll cover the cost of the tariffs and will reach out via email asking you to confirm your address in the coming weeks.

U.S. backers who reserved for $1, once we go retail, we'll issue a discount that you can use on the third-party retail websites - as a token of gratitude for staying with us. Make sure to monitor your inbox for emails from JetKVM.

Upcoming Software Update

Version 0.5.0 is currently in development and will bring several of the most-requested improvements:

• Static IP support
• Two-way audio (both speaker and microphone support)
• Total rewrite of the keyboard stack, significantly improving reliability
