Production, Shipping, and Next Steps

Hello everyone,

We're excited to bring you the latest updates on JetKVM. With your incredible support, we've hit some wonderful milestones and made solid progress on manufacturing and shipping preparations.

Kickstarter Campaign Wrap-Up

Our Kickstarter campaign has officially concluded, raising an astounding $1.9 million from over 13,000 backers. This is a testament to the passion and excitement of all of you - thank you!

For anyone who missed out, we still have late pledges enabled, so people can still back the project. Feel free to share the campaign with friends or colleagues who might be interested.

Fill Out Your Backer Survey

One week ago, we sent out the backer survey via email. This form is for collecting your delivery details, so please complete it as soon as possible. The sooner you fill it out, the sooner we can ship your device.

Production Update

In the last weeks, our primary focus has been getting the first devices dispatched. The assembly team is working super hard right now and building a stockpile of fully assembled, ready-to-ship devices. We're currently waiting for the packaging factory to deliver the boxes to the assembly facility. Once they arrive, we'll begin shipping out the Kickstarter pledges.

Finished SMT

In our last update, we showcased the printed PCBs. Now, all components have been successfully mounted onto the PCBs, and they're fully prepared for assembly.

Shipping

We expect the first JetKVM devices to go out next week. Once a package is dispatched from the factory in Shenzhen, China, you will receive a notification email at the shipping email address you provided in the backer survey.

The Kickstarter platform wasn't designed to handle the scale of 16,000 backers, so we've had to develop custom tools to manage the shipping process more efficiently. One feature we've implemented is the ability to hold a delivery until a specific date.

Open Source

We will open source the software next week, coinciding with the shipment of devices. For updates, you can follow us on GitHub.

FAQ

We've added a detailed FAQ section to our website to help answer any questions you might have. For general inquiries, visit jetkvm.com/faq, and for questions specifically related to our Kickstarter campaign, head over to jetkvm.com/ks-faq.

Our JetKVM community on Discord has grown to over 3,800 members. We're also active on X, BlueSky, and Mastodon.

Cheers, Adam & Lian
